Senior Dog Services
This is a subject close to our hearts as Jacqui, the owner of Hound Dog Adventures has a 14-year-old dog who is now on medication 3 times a day. If it wasn’t for a change in her career she knows that ensuring that her dog received the extra care she needs would have been a constant worry for her.
Having a lot of experience with senior dogs we understand that they require a special kind of service. Group walks with bouncy, younger dogs may be a little too much for them now they are starting to slow down, so we offer a range of services for dogs looking for a slower pace or one to one attention.
Although all dogs are young at heart and can easily forget the aches and pains of getting older when out with their four legged friends, they can get carried away in an active group. We run special group walks especially designed for our older companions or individual walks for dogs that still enjoy getting out and about but at a more leisurely pace.
We also offer a home/convalescent care visit service which would allow us to give you dog any medication they require, a short walk or just a trip out into the garden and lots of fuss for your loyal companion.
Individual walks ½ hr = £10.00
Individual walks 1 hr = £18.00
Individual walks are available Monday to Sunday. Bank Holidays are charged at an additional £5.00
Group walks 1 hr = £15.00
Additional dog from the same family £10.00
Group Walks are only available Monday to Friday. Bank Holidays are charged at an additional £5.00
Home Visit (approximately 15-20 mins = £15.00
